Viktor Fuchs

Air & Ocean Partners, the international cargo network company was established by Helmut Gross and Viktor Fuchs, both being experienced forwarding agents.

Viktor Fuchs was born in 1978 and worked his way up in the forwarding business. Directly after graduating from college he started to work for Pro Service, the forwarding agency of Helmut Gross. His next step was the airfreight department of a Scandinavian agency in Munich, where he became Import Manager at least. The recent years before the establishment of Air & Ocean Partners he worked as Regional Manager for Sales and Marketing for a big german agency.
In the recent years working for global players in the forwarding business Viktor Fuchs was able to gather knowledge about how to run global networks. Viktor Fuchs states that “…the cooperation between the various offices of a global conglomerate and the cooperation between members of a forwarding network company is quite similar”. Viktor Fuchs conveyed a lot from his knowledge and experience to the Air & Ocean Partners Network. In combination with the forwarding experience of Helmut Gross – his partner in the Air & Ocean Partners Network – Viktor Fuchs is confident of the success and the strength of AOP.

“Travelling is the key” Viktor Fuchs points out and he is right: Only within the first 7 months Viktor Fuchs and Helmut Gross were able to enlarge the AOP-network to a number of 75 offices by intense travel work. Viktor Fuchs is holding the responsibility for Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and Far East as well as South America and Africa. “I have always been fond of travelling” says Viktor Fuchs, “with the establishment of AOP I can combine business with the pleasure of seeing the world”.
Besides to the travel work also conferences are very important to Viktor Fuchs. The 1-to-1-meetings at the regular conferences are a key for new cooperation among the members of Air & Ocean Partners. Viktor Fuchs also sees the conferences as a good option of developing not only new cooperation but also new markets for the members of AOP. “Talk to an agency of a less frequented country and establish a new market for your business” suggests Viktor Fuchs pointing out that this is a good opportunity of facing the competition with the big ones. “The mass is running for the mass markets” states Viktor Fuchs. “The much more interesting business for the AOP members lies in the less frequented markets”.

Viktor Fuchs is running the Air & Ocean Partners network together with his Partner Helmut Gross. Helmut Gross and Viktor Fuchs know each other for many years now, what better start could you find for the establishment of a common company like Air & Ocean Partners than a common friendship?
