Who is AOP?
Air & Ocean Partners was founded in 2005 and from
the very beginning we had a vision to create a quality cargo network that helps
bring freight forwarders together for mutual benefit. The quality of such a network is based on the
quality of its members and management team.
Our network does exactly this.
Helmut Gross - President
Born 1957, Helmut Gross has been a managing director in
the forwarding business since 1975. He
has many years of experience in the air cargo industry. Helmut has held several key positions in
major cargo agencies and has served as owner of a forwarding company since the
early 1980’s. Helmut Gross is no novice
when it comes to working in the industry and facing stiff competition.
Viktor André Fuchs - C.O.O.
Viktor was born 1978 and has established himself as an
experienced freight forwarding agent & business economist. He originally
started as a forwarding agent at Munich
International Airport. Viktor worked his up from the bottom and has
served held many different positions for international forwarding
agencies. Viktor has since been very
active in the networking industry and as served as a managing director and
shareholder of the Gross Fuchs Group of companies.
Larissa Schaefer - Sales & Business Development
Larissa was born in 1993. She graduated in secondary school and then started an apprenticeship as an examined foreign language correspondent. After her graduation she went to Spain to gain experience in English and Spanish to work in the service industry. After she returned to Munich, she joined the AOP Team in August 2014 and is supporting the team as a Customer Service Representative.
Dennis Melzer - Sales & Business Development
Dennis was born in 1993. After finishing secondary school in 2011, he completed his apprenticeship in a German airline’s cargo division over 2,5 years. Subsequently, he gained another 2,5 years of working experience in a medium to big sized German forwarding agency from Hamburg in Customer Service and later as a Sales Representative. He joined the AOP team in October 2016 for Sales & Business Development
Sophie Schranner - Customer Service
Sophie was born in 1993. She graduated from commercial school and started an apprenticeship as an office management assistant and foreign language correspondent. After her graduation she worked for about one year in her apprenticing company to gain work experience. In December 2015 she joined the AOP team and is supporting the team as a Customer Service Representative.
Sandra Teicht - Customer Service
Sandra was born in 1995. She graduated from the middle school in 2011 and then started an apprenticeship as an office management assistant over 3 years. After her apprenticeship she worked for 2 years for a payment services provider as a Sales Representative. In October 2016 Sandra joined the AOP Team and is supporting us as a Customer Service Representative.
